This is the current radar image for Starkville. A line of thunderstorms located 40 to 50 miles west of Starkville will continue to push off to the southeast at around 40 MPH. These storms will likely push through Starkville between 3 and 330PM. Expect strong winds in excess of 60 MPH, very heavy rain and dangerous lightning. The red box indicates a tornado watch which continues until 6PM tonight when the severe weather threat diminishes and moves off to our east. I will keep this updated as thunderstorms advance eastward.
This is my latest broadcast where I detail the approaching storms as well as this weeks forecast. It's not great, but it has the information you need.
