This is the currently watch map for Mississippi. Starkville and areas south and west are under a Winter Storm Watch from 6PM Thursday to 12PM Friday. These areas can expect to see up to 1 inch of snow, and 0.25 inches of ice from sleet and freezing rain. Precipitation will likely begin falling as snow or sleet Thursday evening, and will turn to sleet and freezing rain after midnight. It will likely turn over to rain as temperatures climb above freezing late Friday morning, before ending late Friday evening.
