Light Freezing Rain for Leesburg

This is the current ice accumulation map for Leesburg.  As you can tell, it does not look like there will be much in the way of ice.  Leesburg may see as much as 0.1 inch of ice, however it will only be on trees and metal surfaces.  The air temperature will likely stay above 32 for most of the night and the ground will be too warm for ice to accumulate.  Precipitation may begin as freezing rain briefly around midnight.  Rain will continue overnight when it may freeze again just before sunrise.  Again, only minor accumulations are expected.  Rain will continue throughout the day Saturday before ending during the evening.
